Spotlight: Creative Disbatch, LLC.
Creative Disbatch, a small private art collection firm based in Irvine, California long toyed with the idea of switching completely to a Mac OS X solution. Their exsisting system included a Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange for email, file sharing, and calendar. Like similar companies, they paid annual licenses fees for the servers, hundreds monthly for a failing SPAM and Virus software, and hundreds monthly for IT support. After some research into costs and benefits of switching it was decided, it was time to upgrade to Mac OS X.

Without loosing a single email or file, a plan was proposed that would switch the business over-night after two weeks of setting up and training. Emplyees started work the vert next morning with iMacs on each desk, replacing their slow Dell machines. File sharing was easier and more secure then ever before, and SPAM was reduced by 94% - all with a single annual license fee period.

They estimate the company will save $2,000 a month on IT and other costs, and more then $12,000 annually.
